Support Your Clients with Herbs... Safely and effectively

Do you support clients with brain and mental health?

This one-of-a-kind brain health certification course allows you to integrate safe and effective herbal therapies and nutrition to holistically address mental health diseases and disorders.

Many practitioners lack training in herbal medicine, yet their patients WANT to include herbs in their health plan. Get confident using herbs for mental health and support your clients holistically.

In this comprehensive, intermediate certificate course, you'll learn:

  • the core structures and mechanics of brain function and other critical processes that keep our brains healthy;
  • up-to-date methods for using herbs and nutrients to support mental health safely and effectively;
  • evidence-based holistic methods to build better nerve networks and strengthen cognition, mental clarity, memory, muscle movement, and peace of mind.

This course focuses specifically on brain health and cognitive support, offering practical, actionable knowledge backed by science and tradition. Because it is designed by an herbalist for other health care practitioners, it is unique in that it serves as a "bridge" between herbalism and other forms of care.

This course is by The Bellebuono School of Herbal Medicine, an official school of the American Herbalist Guild since 2011.

Designed for Holistic Health Practitioners

We are living longer than at any time in human history, which is both a blessing and a challenge. This means we have an enormous population of people who have entered the late stage in life whose needs are significant. As of 2023 the number of people worldwide aged 65+ is 761,000,000...by 2050 (only 25 years from now!) this number is projected to nearly double, reaching about 1.6 billion. (US Census Bureau)

Of people ages 60-74, between 5% and 7% have some form of dementia. This percentage doubles every five years after that, so that in those aged 75-84, 18-20% have dementia. For those aged 85 or older, 30-50% have dementia.

According to WHO, in 25 years the number of people with Alzheimer's and other dementias will triple, rising from 55 million today to 139 million worldwide.

As many as 1 in 5 people experiences anxiety symptoms

Neurodegenerative diseases affect all ages and backgrounds, including ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), MS (multiple sclerosis), and Parkinson’s Disease. Depression and anxiety cause panic attacks and debilitating symptoms.

In the U.S., roughly 21 million adults are diagnosed with major depression every year. Anxiety is the most common mental health condition in the U.S., with 40 million adults (about 19% of the population) diagnosed each year. Trauma informs PTSD and postpartum depression, with women and men seeking guidance and natural methods of support.

The Alzheimer’s presentation was excellent! You laid it out in a very easy-to-absorb way. I think you have a gift of taking something heavy and hard to understand, and turning it into something that just makes sense. You make knowledge accessible! Not everyone has the time and energy to dive into researching a topic, despite the desire to know more. You are a great teacher Holly!
